Inkspell Authors’ New Year’s Goals…Resolutions…Wishes In 2017, Inkspell would like to continue to provide readers with the best stories to thrill and enchant you. We also wish all our fans a wonderful and happy 2017, filled with romance and love.
Mark Love (Author of Devious, Vanishing Act, and Fleeing Beauty): My wish for 2017 is Peace, Love and Happiness for all and to have our books become bestsellers!
Tammy Mannersly (Author of The Right Brother--watch for it in 2017!): Besides the usual, stereotypical resolutions like wanting to exercise more (especially when it comes to valuing the importance of stretching) and eating healthier (because I was crazy enough to watch That Sugar Film and it scared me away from my love of low fat yogurt), I'm also vowing to spend more time with my friends and family as life can often get so busy that, unless someone takes the leap to organize a catch-up, we can go a very long time before seeing our loved ones again.
Connie Smith (Author of Jivin’ Tango, Tail Lights and Teardrops, and Within the Essence): I want 2017 to be an amazing year, and as 2016 wraps up, I feel absolute eagerness to dive into it. This time next year, I want to look back and know that success was had and anticipations became realities. While these are hardly *all* of my goals for next year, they’re some of the ones for the agenda: Finish editing The Division trilogy. Finish writing Jivin’ Tango’s sequel and submit it to InkSpell. Finish the rough draft of my Christmas project. Find at least two more freelance opportunities. Become a more consistent blogger, outside of the sewing blog. Do NANOWRIMO. Go see a quilt exhibit. Be healthier—exercise regularly and make better food choices! Look into a Penn Foster program to satisfy my I-miss-classes fiasco. Take the time to read at least one book a month (on average). Hey, leisure book-reading got away from me this year! Come up with at least one recipe that could eventually go into a cookbook. Make a rag quilt.
As I said, there’s more, but these are a handful. Here’s to a wonderful, successful, prosperous 2017 (I hope)!"
Catherine Stine aka Kitsy Clare (Author of The Heart in a Box, Model Position, and Private Internship): I would like to write two short stories, finish two novels and start another novel!
