Are you like me?? I love to see the characters in my romances to have some fireworks going off between them. It can be during a fight or during a different time. Think about one of those BIG fights. You know the ones where the characters are tossing things, yelling and breaking things. Those are exciting. For me, it's living vicariously because I would never have a fight like that. There's just too much to clean up!!

One of the other times is when they look at each other. You can see the moment that they love each other. Readers can hear the hero or heroine falling in love. Each time I see my husband, little sparkles go off in my head. I am just so blessed to have him.

In LE Wagensveld's latest release BREAKING THROUGH, her characters have definite sizzle between them, even though they have been friends since childhood. Better than that... the couple experience both kinds of fireworks. You can check out our Facebook Page for a special excerpt of one of the sparkle sessions... but let me tell you... it's exciting!!

BREAKING THROUGH is the second book in the Stevenson Family series and features a small town romance between two close friends who decide to give the romance a try.  BREAKING THROUGH is now available in ebook and print and is a perfect book for a chilly evening!! Snuggle into your blanket and binge the book tonight!

Blurb:
When one kiss forever changes their friendship, Sam and Charlotte must make a choice. Will they take a chance on love? Or remain where they’ve always been…  in the friend zone?

Charlotte Baker never thought of herself as obtuse. But, when fireworks ignite between her and one of her oldest friends, the feelings are a complete surprise. Now, Charlotte can’t stop thinking of that night… or how it felt to be in Sam Stevenson’s arms. One thing is certain. She’ll never think of Sam as a brother again.

Sam Stevenson has loved Charlotte Baker for most of his life. He’s shut the feelings away and never told anyone how he feels, especially not Charlotte. But, during his brother’s wedding with drinks flowing and love in the air, Sam’s feelings get the best of him. Kissing Charlotte changes everything. Sam doesn’t know how he’ll ever see her and not touch her; talk to her and not taste her.

Now, with their friendship on rocky ground, an emergency pushes them together once more. The question is, where do they go from here?

L.E. Wagensveld draws readers in with compelling characters and weaves stories you can’t put down. Breaking Through is her latest, following up her debut BREAKING DOWN with another Stevenson sibling who doesn’t want to upset the “friend zone”.

EXCERPT:
“Hey, Chuck.” Sam’s voice came low and hesitant from behind her.

Charlotte drew a deep breath and turned. Sam stood behind her, looking as shy as a schoolboy and downright adorable. Damn the man. Damn him straight to hell and damn her heart for the gleeful skip it did in her chest at the sight of him. Damn him for making her miss him so ferociously that it hurt. “Hey,” she said, pushing her hands into her pockets. “I didn’t see you there.”

Sam’s lips tightened in the way that said he was struggling to contain a laugh. “How mad are you right now?” he asked after appraising her for a moment. There was a twinkle in his eye that made her want to slap him and kiss him simultaneously.

“I’ve basically been abducted,” she said.

“So, pretty mad, hey.”

Only she wasn’t. She wanted to be mad, but she was too happy to see him to feel anything but joy.

Sam bit his bottom lip, eyes straying to his boots. He wore a thick plaid jacket and a blue toque pulled low over his brow. Stray curls of blond hair escaped around his ears. Charlotte drew in a shaky breath. “Fine,” she said finally. “I’m not mad. Just confused. Why all the tricks?”

“I wasn’t too clear on how you were feeling about me at the moment.”

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
L. E. Wagensveld is the mother of four human children, four furry ones, and wife to her best friend and biggest supporter. Despite being outnumbered, L. E holds her own thanks to caffeine and good old-fashioned stubbornness.

For as long as L. E can remember, she's been a passionate wordsmith. From crafting poems about her pets as a child to the various piles of unfinished manuscripts sitting in her magic cloud, she has always found writing a necessity.

L. E's Stevenson Family novels focus on friendship, family, and love in a small town. L. E is an unashamed romance lover, a passion she attributes to her late maternal grandmother, who was rarely without a Harlequin novel close at hand. In her books, L. E seeks to create an escape for her readers, a place to go when they need a smile or some warm and fuzzy feelings. L. E looks forward to a life full of words and sharing each story by story. www.lewagensveld.com
