Eyecandy Monday: The Watcher by Lisa Voisin

9/10/2012

Because it takes a lot of work to make Mondays fun, we at Inkspell decided to start a new blog feature we like to call Eyecandy Monday. Each Monday we will feature the characters from one Inkspell novel and share with you all the fine details and tasty tidbits we can dig up about these interesting and well written main characters.

What if angels were here on Earth and watching over us? Mia Crawford has always dreamed of wings and when she meets Michael Fontaine, she realizes that she knows him.  But how?

Even angels can be eyecandy! See who the author, Lisa Voisin, would cast in a movie of her book.  Can she find an angel on Earth?
Picture
Character Name: Mia Crawford
Age: 17
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Green (this lifetime)
Height: 5' 8"

Distinguishing features: Curvy with waist-long hair and bright, engaging eyes.

Most resembles: Emilia Clarke

Teaser: Smart, savvy and independent, Mia dreams of becoming an archaeologist one day. Her mother works all the time since her family's divorce, so she's learned to get by on her own, and not to want to want things that she cannot have. She certainly doesn't want to be psychic. So when she starts seeing things nobody else can see--like horrible creatures, visions of an ancient past, or people who aren't really there--she keeps it to herself, refusing any help.

But all her dreams and visions point to the same place, and Michael Fontaine seems to be the only person who has answers.

Picture
Character Name: Michael Fontaine
Age: 18 (this lifetime)
Hair: Dark brown
Eyes: Blue
Height: 6'5"

Distinguishing features: Very tall, with blue eyes that light up. He's classically beautiful with a strong jawline, straight nose, full mouth that curves slightly at the edges. English accent.

Most resembles: Henry Cavill (though younger and slightly taller)

Teaser: Secretive and aloof, Michael Fontaine is surrounded in mystery. Rumors say a motorcycle accident put him into a coma, where he missed his graduation. After a "miraculous recovery", he's transferred to Westmont to finish his senior year. Those who used to know him say he's changed. He's always been gorgeous, but he used to be happy-go-lucky, maybe even a bit of a player. Now, he keeps to himself. Is it his way of coping with gossip, or is he hiding something?

Ooohhh... This week's eyecandy is sure to cure you of those Monday blues! Who wouldn't want someone like Michael watching over them?  And Mia is beautiful and smart! The Watcher is available for pre-order!  Order your copy today!

As if I wasn't excited enough for this book, you have to throw in Henry Cavill! Seriously, I can't stand the wait! <3

Thanks so much everyone! I'm grateful Henry Cavill came along and fit the image I had in my head. :)
