Because it takes a lot of work to make Mondays fun, we at Inkspell decided to start a new blog feature we like to call Eyecandy Monday. Each Monday we will feature the characters from one Inkspell novel and share with you all the fine details and tasty tidbits we can dig up about these
interesting and well written main characters.
When the world ends, groups of people set out in outer space in search of a new planet. Colonization is a young adult companion book to Aubrie Dionne's New Dawn series. Last week, we revealed the cover for Colonization: Paradise Reclaimed. Today we want to share with you some Eyecandy for the main characters.
Character Name: Andromeda- "Annie" for short.
Distinguishing features: Small and skinny, so people don't take her seriously and she has to work hard to get ahead!
Most resembles: the all American girl
Teaser: Wants to succeed to make her great grandfather, the Captain of the New Dawn colony ship, proud. She gets easily distracted, and has slacked off in her studies. Now, she has to work hard to earn a decent place in the colony and the hand of the boy she thinks she loves.
Character Name: Sirius - the boy Andromeda wants as a lifemate
Hair: black like deep-space
Distinguishing features: Charismatic, irresistible, mercurial, driven
Most resembles: Zac Efron with darker hair and eyes. That's who I pictured while writing the whole story.
Teaser: He's not sure how he feels about Andromeda. They've been friends for so long, but reaching Paradise 21 is a new chapter in their lives, and he might want a change.
Character Name: Corvus
Hair: honey blonde
Distinguishing features: Broad chest, lots of muscles. Easy going.
Most resembles: I pictured Samwise Ganji for this role- because he's got the
same unending loyalty and love.
Teaser: Corvus works hard to try to earn Andromeda's love. Everything he does, he does for her.
Now that you've gotten a peek at some of the characters from Colonization, aren't you even more excited for the book to come out?
