Can two people who are living together become more than friends? Author Sydney Scott has created a cute couple in Henry and Jenna from LOVE BY NUMBERS. Henry is a button-uped numbers guy and Jenna is a free-spirited gal. But when these two come together, they are able to make a love connection. Jenna has to find a place to live while she's preparing for her baby and she answers Henry's ad for a roommate. This is when the two of them really connect. Henry is tired of being in the friend zone so having Jenna around, even if it's as a friend helps him and her as well.

LOVE BY NUMBERS is a great story of two people who find in each other, just what they need. This story is a part of the Sunset Cove small town romance series but is just as fun to read alone as the two bond over baby stuff! After all, aren't we all looking for someone who compliments our own weaknesses and turns them into strengths. Jenna and Henry do just this!

Available now, you will want to grab LOVE BY  NUMBERS for yourself.

Blurb:
Can one perpetually practical accountant plus one free-spirited artist equal more than friends?

Henry Baker is tired of getting perpetually friend zoned by the women of Sunset Cove. All he wants is to find someone and start a family of his own, but that seems impossible. When he opens his door one morning to find his high school crush on his doorstep, however, Henry may just have a chance after all.

Jenna Morrison is happy-go-lucky artist who never felt like she belonged, but now that she finds herself single and pregnant, she's decided to give her hometown of Sunset Cove a second chance.  After answering an online ad for a roommate, she finds herself on the doorstep of the sweet boy from high school she wished she'd gotten to know better.

As Henry and Jenna become friends and bond over all things baby, they start to wonder if second chances are indeed possible. Will Henry and Jenna decide that family is what you make it, or will the impracticality of their circumstances equal disaster?

Sydney Scott brings readers back to Sunset Cove in this opposites attract, baby-love romance. Fans of Josh and Gemma Make a Baby by Sarah Ready and Strictly Business by Carrie Elks will fall in love with Henry and Jenna as they navigate their way from the friend zone to lovers.

EXCERPT
Jenna tilted her head higher to look into his eyes and saw the bright blue orbs squinting at her in confusion. “Am I dreaming?”

She shivered at the sound of his voice, low and rough with sleep. Maybe not just the pregnancy hormones she considered as her core ached and she cleaned her throat to finally address him. “Not dreaming. I texted last night about the room for rent, remember?” She stuck her hand out for a shake. “I’m Jenna. You might not remember me, but we went to high school together.”

Henry’s eyes widened at the declaration and recognition filled his gaze. He took her hand into his. It was large and strong, the warmth from it seemed to wrap around her whole being and she felt a sense of comfort as a wave of tingles rolled up her arm. He brushed his palm back across his forehead to push his hair out of his face, one that she couldn’t help but notice was quite handsome.

“I definitely remember you,” he admitted with a quiet chuckle. Henry looked down at their still joined hands and smiled for a moment before dropping it. “S-sorry,” he stuttered as he scratched his hair. “Wait. Room for rent?”

Jenna shuffled her feet awkwardly. “Yea, you posted about a room for rent in the Cove Classifieds. We texted last night.”

“That was real?” He seemed to be whispering to himself more than talking to her before turning around and going into the apartment. He picked his phone up off the coffee table and scrolled through it, his eyes widening with each swipe of his thumb. “Huh,” he said as he walked back over to the door. “Sorry, you can come in. Have a seat. I’m going to go put a shirt on.”

Damn. Jenna lamented the loss of such a great view as she watched him walk over to a bedroom and pull a shirt over his head. He padded back into the room on bare feet and she smiled at his choice of shirt. It was a plain black tee, but it advertised a Mordor Fun Run. She chuckled at the display of the adorkableness she remembered so fondly.
